1.You must have access to a device with fast internet connection in order to complete this course. System requirements: Windows 7, 8, 10 or above. Recommended devices: laptop, desktop computer or tablet.

2. You should be IT literate, i.e. access, browse and navigate through the learning platform, create, use pdf and word files, play audios & videos, use email and follow written instructions etc.
3. You are 16+ years of age.
4. You will spend around 5-6 hours/week studying (incl. tests). Note that this is only an estimation, the actual study time will depend on the individual.
5. You have completed ESOL Entry level 3 or above. If you don't know your level take the Placement Test
Assessment, Award and Tutor support:
The course consists of 4 Units and 4 tutor-marked assessments.
Award: Certificate of completion reflecting the level and marks achieved.

Upon completion of this course learners will be ready to complete NVQ levels in English and progress to professional qualifications in the field of hospitality and catering. Learners who are already qualified and experienced in their profession can move straight into employment.
- This course is suitable for new and experienced hospitality workers whose first language is not English.
- Method of Study: This is an online self-study English course which benefits from Tutor Support. Regular tutor feedback is provided at the end of each Unit to increase students' awareness of their academic strengths and weaknesses.
