ChatGPT and AI policy

Dear Students,

We have reviewed our Plagiarism policy to include the challenge of AI use as a way of generating test answers. 
All ESOLCENTRE's assessors will now use AI detection software(s) in addition to plagiarism detector to ensure that students submit their own answers to coursework and assessments.
Our aims:

• Promoting independent learning; Assessing individual understanding, Preventing plagiarism; Fostering creativity and originality

What happens if we detect AI generated answers in your essay (assessment): your work will be reviewed further, a course FAIL will be issued. 

Whilst we strongly believe that technology enables progress, we would not tolerate plagiarism of any shape or form.
